SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALS

Procure supplemental instructional materials in the target language for the classrooms and school library as needed based on the survey of instructional materials at the dual language immersion (DLI) site. (Refer to Module 4, Pedagogical Decisions: “Instructional Materials”)

Supplemental materials needed may include:

  • Classroom library materials in the target language
    • Supplemental/research materials corresponding to the content being taught in the target language at each grade level
    • Authentic literature for voluntary/pleasure reading by grade level
  • School library materials in the target language
    • Supplemental/research materials corresponding to the content being taught in the target language at each grade level
    • Authentic literature for voluntary/pleasure reading by grade level
