TEACHER RECRUITMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
Teacher recruitment is one of the most critical elements to consider early on when planning a new dual language immersion (DLI) program. With the current shortage of teachers credentialed to teach in the target language, collaboration with district departments and university teacher education programs will be critical to adequately staff the DLI program.
